are becoming greater and greater within every generation. Graduating high school is no longer a great accomplishment. Graduating high school will snag you a job at McDonald’s (oh the joy!) So the many of us heading off to college this fall, getting a B.A should no longer be our main focus. The ultimate goal is now to go above and beyond into graduate school (preferably in the east coast..).

Hahaa! You're totally right. At my HS graduation, there were SO many people who didn't do shit and still passed. Our class president was one of the dumbest girls I've ever encountered. And all my AP friends, who were in literally like 6 classes of AP, and in all these clubs and school stuff, are now at our local JC because that wasn't even enough for them to get in. How sad. To work your butt off and end up at the same place the class slacker did!
